I haven't really been engaged this month as I've been away, sort of anyway. Not so much physically, more mentally. First with my dissertation, then with celebrations and recovery and making the most out of my time with everyone before I leave. Never been the best at goodbyes, but it's been the best three years. All my love to the Nottingham family.

Anyway I'm re-engaged and I'm home, except with no photographer. I'll figure something out, but in the meantime this is what you're getting. Embracing the sun while it lasted by living up to my uniform of shorts and a tee. This Boutique t-shirt is my new favourite thing and I really would wear it every day if I could.

Luv Aj's ID necklace is now back in stock in loads of different colours and I'm pretty happy about it. I'm not particularly adventurous when it comes to jewellery, and it takes me forever to find jewellery I actually like, so I always appreciate considerate designers who produce simple pieces in a variety of colours or textures. Ok so I know I've chosen the black and white ones here but can you ever imagine me favouring anything else. Hey, at least it's not silver. This is a big step for me.

We have sunlight! Funny how the weather can limit so many things in life. In fact it's not funny at all, it's really quite annoying. Managed to catch some late afternoon sun on Friday after having a panic attack about how much work I have to do in the next month, and although it was super windy (I'm not touching my hair constantly for the sake of it) the photos came out real nice. Decided to try something a little new and have a go at video too. It's something I've always wanted to try and after James bought the 5D we were eager to try it out. Hopefully this will be the first of many...

Now this is my kinda summer wardrobe! I'm not really one for floaty dresses or revealing the top of my untoned thighs at lunch time, and the stress of having silky smooth, beautifully tanned skin all day every day is just too much for me to handle sometimes. It's also perfectly relevant for the British excuse for summer weather because let's face it, we'll be lucky if we even have a summer. I've been privately pondering over buying some black or white Birkenstocks for a while now too, and Bassike have kinda sold them to me. At least until I can afford Celine's fur lined sandals anyway (which will probably be never). I say privately because they aren't exactly cool are they, but there's just something I like about them. Never thought it would get to the stage where I start taking fashion tips from my step dad. I might even pair them with socks.

A DISORDERLY FASHION

Although I finally found a pair of buttery leather joggers with a perfect fit I don't think there is anything I could possibly say to help justify spending £250 on them, apart from making me really, really happy. I suppose Satires cost pretty much the same as a Domino's order so it kind of levels out? No, there is no way I can afford these. I also advise anyone that is planning to get them to buy a size smaller than usual... I was playing it safe by buying the UK 8 instead of the 6 and I could probably use them as a sleeping bag they're that big, hence the bobby pins that are desperately trying to hold them together for me. Bobby pins, my life depends on them.

All I ever seem to do at the moment is worry that I should be creating or discovering something, whether it be in the fashion or music industry, or for university or whatever, but instead I spend all my time worrying about it and I end up getting nothing done. Wish there were, I dunno, more days in a day.

Also wish that bra wasn't x283950 more expensive than what I'd pay for a bra, especially one that will struggle to cover your nipples. Kind of what a bra is for. Whatever, it's sexy and I want it.

If you knew how cold it was today you would be surprised I even managed to last ten minutes to take these photos. This English weather is falling off. IT'S MARCH. Zara on the other hand is on fiyah right now, it's probably the only high street store I regularly visit. In fact I kind of want them to stop before I end up buying the whole store and becoming a clone of their mannequins. Changed my laces to a pair of hiking laces and they looked shit so I took them out. I kind of liked them without laces/couldn't be bothered to relace them so now I'm walking around like this. Yeahhhh.
